Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Here are most of the players, only thing missing is the S & P.

Start by marinating the chicken in the Italian dressing for at least 30 minutes.

Mix the Italian bread crumbs with the Parmesan cheese, S  & P and garlic powder.

Dip the chicken in a beaten egg.

Coat it with the Parmesan cheese, bread crumb mixture.

Pop it in a baking dish and drizzle a bit of the dressing over the top and bake it!

Not the prettiest picture, but man is it GOOD!!!

Parmesan Crusted Chicken

2 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 bottle of Italian salad dressing

1 C Italian bread crumbs

¾ C grated Parmesan cheese

½ teas garlic powder

¼ teas both salt and pepper

1 egg

Marinated the chicken in enough Italian dressing to cover it for at least 30 minutes, an hour is better, in the fridge. I put it in a zip lock bag and then in the baking dish I’m going to use. Preheat oven to 375* Mix the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and S & P together. Slightly beat the egg, take the chicken out of the marinade and dip in the egg, then coat in the crumbs. Spray the bottom of a baking dish with a non-stick spray or lightly oil it and place chicken in the baking dish. Drizzle a bit of the marinade over the chicken and bake it. 375* for 30 to 40 minutes or until fork tender.
