Asian Cole Slaw

I’m sure everyone has some version of this salad, because it’s just that good and easy!!! Who doesn’t love Top Ramen?!?!


Asian Cole Slaw


The Salad

1 bag shredded cabbage
4 green onions thinly sliced

1 carrot shredded

2 Tbs. sesame seeds
1 pkg. top ramen, broken up
3/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted. I use a skillet on medium heat. Watch closely!

The Dressing

2 Tbs. sugar

3 Tbs. vinegar
1 seasoning pkg. from chicken flavored Top Ramen
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
1 ½ tsp. sesame oil

Mix well with whisk, then toss the salad with the dressing. It takes a couple of hours for the noodles to soften up. When they do—-YUM!!!
