Appetizers for Parties?

by Whiski Business on February 18, 2011

Appetizers for parties? Take a couple bags of chips and toss them into a bowl, call it good!

Nah, just kidding. There are a couple of easy routes that can be taken. There are some internet sites where you can order appetizers for parties and they are delivered to your home. Gourmet Food Online is one company. Another is Send a Meal.Com At this point I have to say I have never personally used either of these companies so I can’t attest to the quality, but it is an easy solution to the party appetizer quandary. Another easy solution is to go frozen. The wonderful thing about frozen is there is hardly any fuss and muss. Everyday with Rachel Ray did a taste test which might be helpful when choosing frozen appetizers for your party.

Now if you want to strike out on you own, be the mighty appetizer chef there are at least a zillion sites (ok maybe not a zillion, but a whole lot!) that are happy to share a wealth of recipes and ideas with you. Just one recommendation, don’t try to do too much. What I mean is, keep it simple by not making too many different appetizers. The last thing you want is to be working in the kitchen the whole time the party is going on. Try to focus on appetizers that can be made a day ahead. Homemade salsa is always better the next day, the flavors can marry, and you get to enjoy the honeymoon! Taste of Home has some great recipes. Cooking.Com has an appetizer recipe collections it is easy to navigate and chock full of wonderful recipes.

Whatever you decide to do, make sure to have fun too! Remember it’s a PARTAY!!!
